Erik Waller is a global citizen with experience in non-profit business development. In the Fall, he pivoted his career into the education field and currently is a Capital Teaching Resident for KIPP DC Public Charter School at AIM Academy in Southeast Washington, DC teaching 5th grade. He is pursuing his Master’s in Education while serving as a teaching resident as well. He is also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who has served twice. The first journey was in Honduras in 2008 as a Municipal Development Volunteer and the second was in the Republic of Georgia in 2016 as a NGO Advisor.

Erik studied Theater at George Mason University, completed his master's work in Arts Management at American University, and took Executive Education courses in International Business and Policy at Georgetown University. Erik has served on boards of non-profit arts organizations. Erik has a global and forward-thinking mindset with a passion for the arts as well as international relations.

During his free time, Erik enjoys playing basketball, hot yoga, salsa dancing, hiking, and networking.
